This place is called UMA SA TABA, which is found in the name itself, Taba Carmen Davao Del Norte. I can describe this place as a simply fascinating place. You can really feel the nature’s essence while you’re there . I know because I’ve been there. Fresh fish from the pond where you can go fishing by yourself and cook by yourself, or maybe pay the landlord to cook for your food. Non polluted air, pretty fantastic view, basically a nice and a quiet place to relax. You can also enjoy rowing the mini boat in the pond with your friends or family. It’s a great place to be. There is no such thing as “ Entrance fee “, it’s free for all, as long as you just follow the rules listed there. I highly recommend this place, because it’s a stress free area and a place to forget problems temporarily.©
Taba is a very relaxing place which all of your worries,sadness etc. have replace with relax on your mind and you can enjoy with your family and friends.
They have a fishpond which you can fishing rod and you can pay later. They have different kind of Fish which is crab, Milk Fish, Shrimp , Cat fish and etc. You can also ride a mini boat and roam around the pond. Uma sa taba is free from different kind of fun activities.
Tip* tell the staff ahead of time kung nagpunta lang kayo doon para kumain, at tanungin na rin kung may area na di na need magbayad ng cottage. On our part hindi ko sinabing dumaan lang kami para kumain kaya nagkaroon kami ng charge sa cottage.
* it would take time para sa pagluto nung foods (may pila po) kaya may time pa kayong umawra para pang post sa IG at FB.
Ways to get there:
From Davao City sakay lang ng bus to Tagum, baba kayo sa Carmen, 60 pesos lang po ang pamasahe sa non air.
-Pagkababa sa Carmen, sakay po kayo ng single na motor at magpahatid kayo sa Uma sa Taba, 20 pesos per head lang po.
*tip: kung tricycle ang sasakyan nyo i cha charge kayo ng up to 180 pesos kasi parang pakyawan yun.
– Pwede pong magdala ng foods dito at walang corkage pero syempre magbayad kayo ng cottage rental.
